In 1952, Katolight began its dependable power story manufacturing diesel and gaseous powered engine generator sets in the heart of the United States. Our comprehensive product line features engine generator sets ranging from 20kW to 3250kW. For more than half of a century, Katolight’s array of reliable power solutions have answered the demands of a variety of applications including agricultural, commercial, communications, government, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and school campuses.

In April, 2007, Katolight brand became a strategic holding of Germany-based, Tognum Group which includes – MTU, MDE Dezentrale Energiesysteme, CFC Solutions, L’Orange, and Rotorion. This exciting integration with Tognum Group’s impressive catalog of power brand companies ensures our customers throughout the world of our long term position as one of the global leaders in power generation manufacturing and customer service already with a century of power generation experience.

The worldwide acceptance of Katolight equipment reflects the company’s reputation for quality and reliability in design, manufacturing and service. Katolight currently operates out of over 220,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.
